Payment may be made by:

  • cheque
  • direct bank credit, or
  • approved purchase order. DJC Training Partners and approved customers may pay by duly approved purchase order. For payment by approved purchase order, you must have a letter of acceptance from DJC & Associates Ltd. If you are unsure if you have such a letter, please contact our Training Administration staff, they will be happy to assist.

Overdue fees

DJC thank their clients for their prompt payment of all outstanding fees. DJC can maintain its low fee structure only by having clients pay promptly.

Unless prior written arrangements exist, training fees that are unpaid more than one month after the training event has started will attract a 2.5% per week penalty charge on the outstanding balance.

Any costs incurred in the recovery of overdue fees will be charged back to the customer as an expense.

DJC's policy is to offer training at reasonable rates compared to the market so that people can obtain the skills and knowledge they require to complete their daily assigned tasks to the required standard.

Training Course Prerequisites

A course may require that trainees have stated prerequisite skills, knowledge and experience before they can attend that course. Enforcing these prerequisite requirements helps ensure that all course participants have an equal chance of success and that no one trainee requires excessive amounts of the trainer's time, to the detriment of other trainees.

Should a trainee embark on a course and the trainer determines that they clearly do not meet the stated prerequisites, DJC reserves the right to turn that trainee away. All costs incurred in this action will be at the approving manager of the trainee. Please ensure that your nominated trainees meet the stated course prerequisites.

DJC's policy is that all students should have a fair and equal chance to achieve success.

Confirmation of Training Course Enrolments

Training that is requested via a DJC Training Registration form is subject to confirmation by DJC. Students are not considered to be registered until they have received from DJC (by either email or fax) a confirmation notice stating the details of the confirmed course.

DJC's policy is to keep regular, clear and consistent communication with customers.

Cancellations

Cancellation by DJC

DJC reserves the right to reschedule or cancel courses up to 10 working days prior to the advertised and confirmed course start date. In the event of this occurring you will be notified:

  • if a rescheduled date is available, or
  • if the course is cancelled.

DJC's policy is to always try to reschedule in preference to cancellation.

Cancellation by you

You may substitute trainees at any time prior to the course starting, so long as the substitute meets all stated prerequisites.

Cancellation of a confirmed training request may incur the following training fees if the trainee's place cannot be filled by another person.

Cancellation fees depend on how long before the course we receive notice of your cancellation.

  • Cancellation less than 10 business days prior to the training: 25% of the training fee is payable
  • Cancellation less than 5 business days prior to the training: 50% of the training fee is payable
  • Cancellation less than 3 business days prior to the training: 100% of the training fee is payable

DJC's policy is to meet your needs, even if that means rescheduling the training to achieve that goal.
